My life's work... it probably took me at least 3 or 4 months to do this thing. It's a pretty big piece, made up of charcoal and white prismacolor. I love how it turned out though. Amazing enough, I drew the entire thing upside down because it was ment to be seen that way...then I turned it right side up and everyone liked it better that way! ;; Hehe anyways, I've always loved this piece and I hope that you all like it too.
That is very good. I'm sure the more you do stuff like this the faster and better at it (if you can get better than that you will get. Good job on the lighting also.
Oh wow! This is very well worth the time and effort you've put into it. The shadowing makes it look as though she really is udnerwater! The only thing I can see that's buggy are the bubbles. I don't think they'd go up in one giant mass like that. They hide the face slightly. However, this pic is still excellent. for you!
Actually it was based on a stock photo from my art class. They have several large volumes of photos, images, and posters created by people to be used freely by the public. Gah I'm trying to remember the name of the books... they make one every year and it's kind of a big deal among photographers and graphic designers to get into it...
But to answer your question simply, yes it's based off of a photo. I made this back about 5 or 6 years ago if I'm correct.
Oh wow! This looks awesome! I really don't know what else to say about it! The ripple effects with the distortion and the lighting are very well done!! Excellent work! Just imagine I've said all that a hundred times over...!! XD

I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
